The Astronomy Club was started by Prof N Unnikrishnan in 2004 and works closely with the Regional Science Centre and Planetarium in Calicut by hoisting seminars and arranging student visits to Science Centre. It continues to be active under the present coordinator Sri Sreejith P. Astronomy club now installed a  reflecting telescope for sky observation.
